The nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 offers a balanced cushioning, not too soft nor firm, and gives enough underfoot feel with a good rebounce. The Ghost 17 also reduced the heel drop to 10mm to assist in a smoother transition. The new, versatile and clean colors is also nice touch-up.

"Found a great bargain on paceathletic and couldnt resist this on these premium Brooks Ghost shoes. Always was a fan of Adrenaline GTS and wanted to try the neutral variant of the same shoe. The shoe is good for long runs and a bit of tempo even. I found the upper to be a bit too stiff and intruding into my ankle area and causing discomfort leading me to change the lacing pattern for the shoe but in the end it all worked out."
