The all new 1080v15
Comfort. Consistency. Confidence. That’s what defines the New Balance 1080v15. Built with Infinion, a brand-new midsole foam, it’s designed to handle the grind of daily mileage while keeping its shape and spring long after the first run.

Infinion Foam
The new Infinion foam replaces Fresh Foam X with a lighter, smoother compound that feels softer underfoot and delivers a more responsive ride. It’s cushioning that doesn’t quit, staying lively and supportive through every session, from recovery jogs to long runs.

go the distance
Fans of the 1080’s plush DNA will feel right at home, but this version takes things further. Infinion refines that same comfort and adds extra bounce and durability, the perfect blend of soft landings and lasting performance.
Comfort, redefined.

Infinion
Debuting in the 1080v15, Infinion is New Balance's latest innovation to take daily training to the next level. It is both lighter, and designed to be more durable than previous iterations, meaning the foam can handle more lifetime mileage. Best used for everything from daily training to long runs.

Fresh Foam X
Fresh Foam prioritises a softer, more traditional running feel, great for runners who want smooth transitions without too much bounce. Best used for easy and recovery miles. Fresh Foam X is found in the 880 and More range, and the 1080v14

FuelCell
FuelCell takes the opposite approach, it’s New Balance’s performance-focused foam. Developed for speed, this nitrogen-infused compound delivers high energy return and a distinctly springy sensation. Found in New Balance's performance range, the Rebel, SC Trainer and SC Elite models. Best used for higher tempo and race days.
The v15 swaps the v14’s Fresh Foam X midsole for ATPU-based Infinion foam, giving a lighter, more responsive ride. It also features a breathable knit upper and a slightly taller heel stack, enhancing cushioning and energy return for longer runs.

“The difference between the supercritical foam and Fresh Foam becomes noticeable as you accumulate the miles... the rebound of the Infinion keeps going.” - Believe in the Run
“The new midsole feels like a genuine step forward, offering a smoother and more responsive ride than previous versions.” - FordyRuns
"This lightness and the extra energy return from the foam make the 1080v15 more versatile than many highly-cushioned shoes. You can hit faster speeds in it quite comfortably, though it’s not a dedicated speed shoe, and it can handle a variety of daily training runs well." - The Run Testers
